We offer fast track courses at 2 levels
The Fast Track Hairdressing Course for Level 2 & 3 is a full-time programme which covers everything from cutting, colouring, treatments, perming to working in a salon working a reception desk and customer care - taking you to hairdressing success in36 weeks.
It is the fast track route to obtaining the national recognised NVQ Level 2 & Level 3. During the course you will learn a variety of techniques in all aspects of hairdressing. This will include creative styling, dressing long hair, creative cutting and current perming and colouring techniques. There are a number of business units as well as some optional units to choose from.
Who is this course for?
Those who wish to pursue a career in hairdressing at an advanced level or who want to manage a salon or become a lecturer in the future. This course covers all aspects of hairdressing at an advanced level.

Managing a salon
Working as a technician for a major company
Working for an airline or on a cruise liner
Educational Progression
Level 3 is the highest practical Hairdressing qualification you can get. You will be working in the industry when you complete the course and you will be expected to keep up to date by attending product demonstrations and training events and master classes. You may wish to consider Assessor training and /or Teacher training as the next step educationally.
Duration
Training will be provided by Rainbow Room International towards City & Guilds NVQ level 2 & 3 for a period of 36 weeks.

It is the fast track route to obtaining the national recognised NVQ Level 2.

Those wishing to pursue a career in Hairdressing. This course provides an NVQ Level 2 and provides a basic foundation qualification in hairdressing skills.

Duration
Training will be provided by Rainbow Room International towards City & Guilds NVQ level 2 for a period of 26 weeks.
Training
Training will be provided by seminars, interactive training sessions, hands-on practical sessions, lectures, text books, electronic presentations, live demonstrations, outside educators and IT technology.
Places are limited and entrance is by interview only. Previous hairdressing experience is not required. The Academy will provide you with tuition, learning opportunities and other related services which will lead to the award of your City & Guild’s NVQ award subject to you successfully fulfilling the requirements of your programme and modules.
Students must reach the minimum standards required to qualify. On successful completion of the course, you will obtain NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing and the Rainbow Room International Diploma.
