Great Western Road

Tara, now Salon Director of the Great Western Road Rainbow Room International salon, is originally from our Crow Road team where she was Assistant Manageress and also lead assessor of our training Academy. Tara enjoys giving clients full transformations, combining her cutting and colouring abilities to offer a whole new look. She enjoys working on any style that allows her technical skills to shine. Tara often takes courses to strengthen her talents since she is constantly seeking to further her experience and stay current with the latest techniques and trends. It pays off as well because she gets to work on prestigious events like T in the Park.

After being a part of the RRI Crow Road team for 2 years, Becca moved up to our Great Western Road team early 2023. The variety of enhancing a client's natural look, all the way to taking them through a complete transformation has made Becca fall in love with her ability to bring her client's vision to life. Becca loves being able to attend as many RRI courses as possible, as it keeps her constantly developing her skills. Being a member of our Collective Team, Becca has always got creative opportunities that she is a part of, such as TRNSMT. This allows her to show her creative skills.

I've been part of Rainbow Room International, Great Western Road, since 2020, developing a warm, welcoming approach and exceptional craftsmanship that allows me to create something truly special and unique for every client that comes into the salon. I'm passionate about working with all hair types and lengths - from short to long - embracing your natural texture and combining expert cutting and colouring to enhance your natural beauty. I also love pushing creativity with bold, statement colours for those ready to stand out.

I regularly attend multiple courses each year to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and trends, ensuring that my clients always receive modern, high-quality results. One of the highlights of my career so far has been styling hair at the Scottish BAFTA's & TRNSMT, where I was able to showcase my love for creative styling.

I joined RRI in 2020 as a Saturday Assistant, and I'm now proud to be a full-time Stylist who genuinely loves every part of what I do. I have a real passion for working with curly hair, creating seamless balayage, and transforming looks with fun, vivid colours. I'm always ready to take on a new challenge and love helping clients express their individuality through their hair. 

I'm committed to constantly expanding my knowledge, taking every opportunity to learn and grow so I can bring fresh ideas and the best techniques back into the salon - ensuring every client leaves feeling their absolute best.

Hi, I’m Freya, I’ve been part of Rainbow Room International since 2022, starting my journey as a Modern Apprentice. Since then, I’ve grown within the company and now work at our Great Western Road Salon — and honestly, joining this team has been the best move ever. We’re such a strong, supportive group, and I love being part of it.

As Senior Receptionist, I’m the friendly and dependable voice behind your booking experience. From your first call to the moment you walk through the door, I make sure everything runs smoothly and seamlessly. My organised approach and team-player mindset help keep both our clients and our team supported every day.
